Drive-through service

You will not need to get out of your car. The hours are 5:00 pm – 6:30pm. This is only offered on the last Monday of the month. If you come on Monday night you cannot come on Tuesday morning or the rest of the month.

Drive–through dates for 2024 – drive through will be LAST Monday of the month in 2024.

Obtaining Food

Every Tuesday between 9:30am and 11:30am, the New Hope Community Food Pantry provides 5-7 days of emergency food once per month per family. If it is your first time visiting the pantry, please bring an identification (ID) card or document (bill, etc.) that has your name and address on it. The food pantry caters to Chicago residents of the following zip codes: 60630, 60631, 60646, 60656, 60706, and 60634. Everyone is served the first time they come to the pantry, no matter where they live.  Visitors from outside these five Chicago ZIP codes are referred to a food pantry that operates in their locale.

Food pantry

The food pantry provides an emergency food supply of 5 to 7 days worth of food.

The food pantry is an agency of the greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD) and a member of the Northside Anti-Hunger Network.

 

Healthcare services

Through NHCFP’s partnership with AMITA Health, clients may choose to receive free healthcare services and information such as:

  • Blood pressure screening

  • Flu shots

  • Nutritional Information
